The ladder returns throughout my work as a mark of ascent and alignment. Sometimes scratched and weathered, sometimes luminous, it suggests the meeting place between the seen and unseen—an invitation to lift the gaze without escaping the ground beneath us.梯子は、上昇と調和のしるしとして繰り返し作品に現れます。削られ、風化していることもあれば、光を帯びることもある。見えるものと見えないものが出会う場所として、足元を離れずに、まなざしを上へ向けるよう招きます。

The ladder stretches between worlds, pointing beyond itself, connecting the miraculous with the mundane. It asks the eye to rise while its feet remain planted in the ordinary ground of life.梯子は世界と世界の間に伸び、自らを越えた先を指し、奇跡と日常を結びます。日常という地面に足を置いたまま、まなざしを上へ向けるよう招きます。
Imperfect verticals and fragile rungs hold heaven and earth in conversation. Alignment is not rigidity; it is a living relationship often requiring rebalancing.不完全な縦線と繊細な段が、天と地の対話を支えます。整うことは硬直ではなく、幾度も均衡を取り直すことを必要とする、生きた関係です。
The destination is embedded in a conversation. One prompts questions, but action belongs to the viewer to take: what might become possible if you take the next rung?行き先は対話の中に織り込まれています。作品は問いを投げかけますが、行動を起こすのは見る人自身です。次の一段に手をかけたら、何が可能になるでしょうか。

Placed where life repeatedly passes—a threshold, a reading room, a place of gathering—Ladder becomes less an object to inspect than a sacred reminder. Its vertical movement can steady an atmosphere without dominating it.玄関、読書の部屋、人が集まる場所など、日々何度も通るところに置かれると、「梯子」は鑑賞する物というより、聖なるものを思い出すための存在になります。空間を支配せず、その垂直の動きが雰囲気を静かに整えます。
